The main character is a scientist, hiding on a planet orbiting a red dwarf star, whose isolation is disrupted by the arrival of a stranger. It takes place in the same universe as my Zephyr stories that have been appearing in The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction, and fits into the future history I’m gradually deploying.”
