Escape Pod has opened a themed submissions window that runs from now until October 31, 2021. The theme is “Joy” and they are looking for joyful SF stories that celebrate positive futures or positive alternate pasts. Stories should be between 1,500-6,000 words, and payment is 8 cents per word. Full details here.
