Jaime Lee Moyer wants to let you know: “Back in the day, I workshopped a book called The Witch Of Sherwood on OWW. I just sold that book, and an as yet untitled second book to Jo Fletcher Books in the UK. The novel is now titled Brightfall, and will be out in July of 2019. I owe a huge debt of gratitude to all the OWW members who read and commented on the chapters I posted on the shop. You pointed me in the right direction. Thank you all.”

William Delman wrote to say: “Just wanted to let the community know I have two pieces out right now. “Head in the Cloud” is currently up at The Arcanist, and “Known Issues” is in Mythic #6, available now from Amazon, and other retailers. Also, I’ve very happy to announce my story “The Endless Lives of Kama” was purchased by Daily Science Fiction (pub. date pending).

I’d like to thank everyone at the workshop who helped me polish and sharpen these pieces, and I’m looking forward to being more active in the workshop in the months ahead.”

Rhonda (R.S.) Garcia wants us all to know: “My story, “The Anchorite Wakes”,  was just published in Issue 143 of Clarkesworld Magazine. This was a dream market for me, and not one I thought I’d crack. Somehow, they bought the first thing I was ever brave enough to send them.
Figured this group was the only one that would get how big this is for me. You can read the story here.
In other good news, my story “The Bois” was translated for a special issue of the Spanish spec fic magazine SuperSonic honouring Ursula Le Guin. It has also been picked up for two anthologies, Sunspot Jungle Volume II and the Apex Book of World Scifi Volume 5. Not a bad year all around.”

Gregor Hartmann wants us to know: “A story critiqued at OWW long ago, “Wind and Stars and All Creation,” is now published in Terra Nullius, a British anthology of original work. The main character is a scientist, hiding on a planet orbiting a red dwarf star, whose isolation is disrupted by the arrival of a stranger. It takes place in the same universe as my Zephyr stories that have been appearing in The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction, and fits into the future history I’m gradually deploying.”

Willam Delman writes: “I wanted to let the community know I’m going to have a new piece out in The Arcanist! The story they’re going to be publishing, AL1 Y0 ARM IS B0L0NG T0 0S, was in the workshop back in December, and I’d like to thank Patrick Gardner, Eric Mulder, and Kim Bradshaw for their help. I hope everyone can take a moment, head over to The Arcanist and leave me a few “claps” (it’s a Medium thing). Thanks!”

This is my first sale, so I’m very excited. I want to thank everyone who critiqued it.”
