Jeremy Tolbert has even more great news: “I have a story coming out in October in LIghtspeed Magazine called “Cavern of the Screaming Eye.” It’s the cover story, and they commissioned original artwork for my story. It’s a genuine illustration that brings my characters to life. We just got back revisions on it, and it looks absolutely amazing. Every time I glance at it, I grin ear to ear.”

Barbara Barnett wrote to tell us: “Wanted to let you folks know that my novel The Apothecary’s Curse (which was an editor’s choice in April 2013 ) will be released by Pyr October 11.”

It’s a fun story aimed at a cross section of foodies and SF fans. Additionally, I have sold a new story, “The West Topeka Triangle” to John Joseph Adams for either Lightspeed or Nightmare Magazine.  We’ll be working on revisions to that one to see ultimately where it fits best. I believe it is my best work yet, and I think you will love it!”

Lizzie Newell wants to tell us about her news: “I’ve been away for OWW for some years. I’ve gone the self-pub route and have two books out, Sappho’s Agency  and The Fisherman and the Sperm Thief . The Fisherman and the Sperm Thief was developed out of a short story “The Stud” initially written for an OWW challenge. I recall that the challenge was to write a short story with a POV character who couldn’t see.”

Christine Lucas wants everyone to know: “Apparently there’s going to be a OWW meetup in the Fae Visions of Mediterranean anthology from TFF, since my own story, “Madonna Mermaid” will be included. Also, another OWW-critted story of mine just got live in issue #125 of Space and Time Magazine, titled “They Came Bearing Dangerous Gifts”. Both stories are old, and I cannot recall the name of those who reviewed them back them, but many thanks anyway.”

Lyndsay E. Gilbert’s story “The Strangest Sort of Siren” will be published in the Fae Visions of the Meditteranean anthology by Future Fire Publishing, in May 2016.

Elad Haber’s story “Do What You Desire” will be reprinted in Strange Constellations in May 2016.

Sean Michael O’Brian’s novel Beltrunner was released electronically by EDGE Publishing in February.

Seth Skorkowsky’s novel IBENUS (Valducan #3), the third in his series, is coming from  Ragnarok Publications in September 2016. Seth also has a story in the A Grimoire of  Eldritch Inquests anthology. Watch for “The Vampire of Somerset” later this year.

Wade Albert White revealed the cover for his debut MG novel and it’s awesome. The Adventurer’s Guide To Successful Escapes will be on the shelves in September 2016.
